A robotic future

East Forest first-graders were eager to share their visions of robot use in the future. Students read non-fiction and fiction articles and stories in preparation for planning and inventing their own robot prototype. The robot was to be helpful to people in some way and design was up to their imagination. Students, with the help of their parents created these original, clever and helpful robots. Displaying their robot creations are (from left) Luke Simpson, Brody Hartle, Brady Ruben, Jacob Glass, Caleb Carney, Vera Heferle and Alexandrea Carroll. (Submitted photo)
