Three new Dollar General stores are coming to Clarion County.
The Clarion County Planning Commission gave preliminary approval Wednesday for all three stores, which will be located in Fryburg, Limestone and Strattanville.
The Fryburg store will be located near another project that also received preliminary approval at the commission’s meeting Wednesday. First United National Bank was given approval for three modifications at the bank.
The Limestone Dollar General store will be located along Route 66 near Palmer’s Store. John Morris with equitable owner Clarion (Limestone) DPP, LLC, proposed the project.
The Strattanville store will be located along Route 322. The project was submitted by Sam’s Service Station with equitable owner Clarion (Strattanville) DPP, LLC.
It was announced at the planning commission meeting that each store will be 9,100 square feet with additional land development for parking.
