3 charged in fugitive from justice case

Clarion state police apprehended one man for being a fugitive from justice, and two other people have been charged for trying to help the man escape capture.

Police said the incident began April 10 as troopers located Damean Michael Felmlee of Parker at the residence of Kirsten Renee Wolff in Strattanville. Felmlee had a warrant for absconding probation, police said.

Felmlee fled Wolff’s residence with assistance from Wolff, and she continued to delay Felmlee’s apprehension, police said. Felmlee could not be taken into custody April 10 due to the hindering by Wolff and others, police said.

Police said their investigation continued and they received information that Cody Lee McGinnis of Clarion was also helping Felmlee.

Felmlee was eventually taken into custody late Thursday night in Clarion Township and lodged in the Clarion County jail. Wolff and McGinnis were arraigned on hindering charges.

Police said their investigation is continuing and other suspects have been identified.
