Two people were injured when a vehicle struck another vehicle from behind Tuesday in Clarion County.
Clarion state police said Jason Tarr, 41, of Butler, had stopped his vehicle on Route 68 at its intersection with Perkins Road when his foot slipped off the brake and onto the gas pedal, causing the vehicle to move forward and strike the back of the vehicle in front of him driven by Crystal Zacherl, 49, of Strattanville.
Zacherl and a passenger in her vehicle, Heather Becker, 49, of Knox, both sustained suspected minor injuries but weren’t transported to a hospital, police said.
